Bruce Sawhill Board Member

Dr. Bruce Sawhill received his B.A. in Music from Stanford University in 1979, where he majored in organ performance, as well as a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from Stanford in 1985. He continued his research career in Germany, Switzerland, and New Mexico. During that time he continued to perform on the organ. Bruce relocated to Santa Cruz in 2003 and is currently a co-founder of DayJet Corp. When not developing algorithms for DayJet or playing the organ, Dr. Sawhill enjoys long-distance open water swimming and has recently learned to surf. Bruce has performed as organist for several of SC Baroque Festival's special events, including the Fall Organ Benefit Concert.
