Fall Benefit Concert
Saturday, December 10, 2011 - 7:30pm ~ Calvary Episcopal Church (the Red Church, downtown Santa Cruz)Young artists performing seasonal early music.
The Baroque Festival offers a prelude to its 39th concert season 'Evolution!' with a benefit concert featuring young regional talent ranging from accomplished high school musicians to young professionals. This program features baroque music for the winter holidays, and other selections. Performing are Tyler Hayford (piano and pipe organ) with music by Bach, Sheila Willey (soprano) and Alissa Roedig (baroque flute) with selections by French and German baroque composers, as well as the Pacific String Quartet performing Corelli's beloved 'Christmas Concerto'. Flamenco Fiesta!

Celebrate the completion of our 2012 season and the onset of summer in the garden of the SCBF's Artistic Director with flamenco music and dance brought to you by Carlitos de Santa Cruz and friends, with the culinary accompaniment of tapas (Spanish-style appetizers), desserts, beer, and fine wines poured by Hallcrest Vineyards. This event is a fundraiser. Location: Private residence (address provided to ticket holders).

Boomeria (Organ) Extravaganza

The grounds of Boomeria are full of surprises, including a wonderful pipe organ inside its Chapel Royal. A selection of performers brings to life the repertoire and spirit of this centuries-old synthesizer, and visitors have the opportunity to explore the organ's insides. Enjoy a unique afternoon with hours of organ music, refreshments, and wine, surrounded by the Bonny Doon area forest. Location: Private residence (address provided to ticket holders).
